and philosophy without having to convert to Buddhism. Meditation is the strength
that Buddhism offers world citizens to observe our own mind and feelings and learn
to change attitude and behavior. Mindfulness can be practiced so that one is at
peace with heartfilled with less greed, ill will, and delusion.
Mindful communication is essential for global citizens to let go with those -ism,
be it egoism, institutionalism, nationalism, etc. Kindheartedness can be cultivated.
All citizen journalists or social media communicators should practice mindfulness
so that there will not be defamation, false news, hoax, vulgarism, and invasion of
other privacy online. Mindful journalism is essential for journalists to observe
whether they feed delusion to the audience. By being mindful, we can cultivate
peace, nonviolence, loving-kindness, compassion, and understanding of others.
