Christine Fordeis Emeritus Professor at Glasgow University where she held a personal chair in
Leadership and Professional Learning. Her research interests include leadership, professional
learning and accomplished teaching. An important element of Professor Forde’s work has been
working with policy communities to develop policy and programmes in teacher development.
Rosa Murray is currently working in Teacher Education at the University of Edinburgh
developing strategic partnerships with the University, local authorities and schools to develop the
concept and model of a Professional Learning Continuum designed to meet the aspirations of
teachers throughout their professional career.
