Author Biographies
Teresa O’Dohertyis Dean of Education, Mary Immaculate College, Limerick. Her research
interests are in the history and policy of education. She is a member of SCoTENS, an all-Ireland
association of teacher educators, Teacher Education Policy in Europe Network and the UK-based
Teacher Education Group.
Judith Harfordis Associate Professor and Director of the Professional Master of Education at the
School of Education, University College Dublin. She is Co-Ordinator of the Teacher Education
Policy in Europe Network, a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society (London) and an International
Clinical Practice Fellow of the American Association of Teacher Educators.
