Author Biographies


Professor Carl Anders SäfströmSchool of Culture and Education, Södertörn University,
Stockholm, his research focuses on issues of responsibility for the other, justice, equality and
freedom in educational relations. His current research deals with the theory, practice and policy of
teacher education.


Herner Saeverotis professor of education at Western Norway University of Applied Sciences.
His research focuses on existential education, literature and education, international perspectives of
educational research and educational policy. He is the editor-in-chief ofNordic Studies in
Educationand member of the editorial board of Studies in Philosophy and Education.
