Author Biographies


Laurie Katz(EdD, University of Massachusetts Amherst) is Professor in Department of Teaching
& Learning at The Ohio State University. Her research focuses on teacher preparation, young
children and families from birth—8 years of age, inclusive education and narrative styles and
structures of young children.


Judith Green(Ph.D., University of California Berkeley) is Professor Emeritus of Education,
University of California, Santa Barbara-Gevirtz Graduate School of Education. Her research
focuses on discourse and ethnographic studies of knowledge construction in educational settings
from Pre-K through Higher Education.
