Simone Whiteis Professor and Chair of Teacher Education in the Faculty of Education at Monash
University, Australia and currently the Immediate Past President of the Australian Teacher
Education Association (ATEA). Simone’s research, teaching and engagement are focused on the
key question of how to best prepare teachers and leaders for diverse communities.
Rachel Forgaszis a teacher educator and researcher in the Faculty of Education at Monash
University, Australia, where she is also a Fellow of the Monash Education Academy. She
researches and writes about: embodied pedagogies, self-study, the emotional dimension of learning
to teach, Professional Experience, and mentor professional learning.
