Author Biography
Gert Biesta(www.gertbiesta.com) is Professor of Education at the Department of Education of
Brunel University London and NIVOZ Professor for Education at the University for Humanistic
Studies, the Netherlands. In addition he is Visiting Professor for Education at NLA University
College, Bergen, Norway. His work focuses on the theory and philosophy of education, education
policy, and the philosophy of educational and social research.
