Author Biography
Hannu L. T. Heikkinenis a professor in the Finnish Institute for Educational Research,
University of Jyväskylä, Finland, where he is head of research in‘Education and the World of
Work’. He is also an adjunct professor of Charles Sturt University, Australia; University of
Tampere, Finland; and theÅbo Akademi University, Finland. He is specialized in research on
continuing professional development of teachers, especially on mentoring.
