Odilla FinlaysonPh.D. is a member of Centre for Advancement of STEM Teaching and Learning
(CASTeL) and Senior Lecturer in Science Education in the School of Chemical Sciences, Dublin
City University. Research interests in engaging pedagogies for science teaching and assessment.
Co-ordinator of FP7 SAILS (2011–2015).
Eilish McLoughlinPh.D. is Director of the Centre for Advancement of STEM Teaching and
Learning (CASTeL) and Senior Lecturer in the School of Physical Sciences at Dublin City
University. Eilish’s research interests are in conducting evidence-based research on STEM
curriculum, pedagogy and assessment and research informed STEM teacher education.
