I visited Antigua on my first
trip to Central America,
travelling alone without an
itinerary. It was one of the
most beautiful, photogenic
cities Iā€™d ever come across,
and I spent four days there
before hopping on a bus to
El Salvador. The small old
town offered an abundance
of textures and hues ā€“ the
density of colourful,
decaying walls was almost
overwhelming. I wandered
past this side street while
looking for shelter from
early-afternoon rain, taking
advantage of a subsequent
break in the showers to stop
and capture a few images
of pedestrians passing by.
This shot reminds me of my
travels and makes me want
to get back on the road.

GUATEMALA
