A PIECE OF PEACE,
ONE BRICK AT A TIME
In light of the 50th anniversary of
ASEAN, the UNESCO World
Heritage art exhibition, “Piece of
Peace”, has made its way to the
Southeast Asian region for the
first time in Singapore. The
original exhibition from Japan
makes use of LEGO® Bricks to
build landmarks from all over the
world and has attracted more
than 2.9 million participants
worldwide. LOVE EARTH, LOVE
ASIA, and LOVE ASEAN are the
central themes of the exhibit and
feature exquisitely crafted LEGO®
replicas of UNESCO World
Heritage Sites. These include
monuments like Greece’s
Acropolis of Athens, Australia’s
Sydney Opera House, Japan’s
Itsukushima Shinto Shrine, and
many more.
Other activities for children
and adults to enjoy include Brick
By Brick SG, where the most
creative models built by
members of the public will be
kept to build a Singapore-
inspired topographical map.
Don’t miss out on the LEGO®
Singapore Limited Edition Food
Culture Mini Builds, where
replicas of local delicacies like
chilli crab, nyonya kuehs, and
kaya toast breakfast collectible
sets await visitors.

The event runs now to 3
September at the Fort Canning
Arts Centre.
