Cut the decorative paper more than
twice the size of the juice box.

Cut the straw to be just a bit longer than
the juice box.

Take the middle piece out of the curler and glue it onto
the back of the juice box.

Glue a bead onto each end of the straw, then glue the straw with the
beads (these will be the ‘wheels’to the bottom of the juice box.)

Wrap the juice box in paper – like
you would wrap a present – and
tape the paper closed.

for a long day of training. When they get to the stadium, they hit the fi eld to warm up.Warming up is seriously important! I’ve learned some great stretches from training
with the Wave Crashers. Last month, my coach even asked if I would lead our team’s warm-up sessions from now on!

but it’s a lot of fun, too!After training we eat lunch, then it’s off to the gym for a two-hour workout!
Weight-lifting, running, exercises ... I’m usually exhausted at this point, but I keep going. I know I have to be in tip-top shape if I want to help my team
make the fi nals. As the Malibu Wave Crashers always say, it’s “Go big or go home!”

more serious about the game. I fi rst started! Now I’m much
season. I play striker mostly, but I am makes it to the playoffs every I’m on a very strong team that
also a decent midfi elder. Once a month, we train with a
professional team called the Malibu Wave Crashers. They work hard. You should see
what a regular day is like for them! But training with them only makes me want to
be a pro soccer player even more.The Wave Crashers get up very early.
