Interview with Mina Sundwall
- What are the projects that you are currently working on?
I Just finished shooting Season 1 of Lost in Space for Netflix, now
we’re doing all of the post-production work! The next few weeks
I’ll be recording voice overs, and besides that I’m catching up on
all the sleep I missed while on set. :) - What do you feel is your biggest achievement so far?
I love languages, my life goal is to make it to 8... I have a long way
to go, but I have 4 down. Half way there. - Why and when did you start your acting career?
It all started when I was about 5 months old with my debuting role
in the Maury Povich show as “the crying baby” (obviously my
proudest role... hahaha).
In general, I was always a very dramatic child. I would put on full
performances for my parents in our living room when I was little
(multiple characters, an established plot, costumes... the real deal)
and when I was about 6 I wanted to do more and started
auditioning for student films and smaller roles. At 11 I signed with
CESD and I’ve been with them since! - Besides acting, what are you passionate about?
I have a passion for distant cultures... discovering new points of
view... I love feeling just outside of my comfort zone, trying
strange foods like roasted worms or ants, sleep in a tent in the
Sahara Desert and meeting the Kayan Lahwi women with their
neck rings in Thailand - What do you feel is your favorite episodes on Lost In Space?
My personal favorite is the one where we see the siblings bond
together and their trust in one another grow, and we meet new
