As a teen, how do you strike a balance between your
career and schoolwork?
School is very important to me. In fact, it is one of my top
priorities. Each day I make sure I finish all my school work
and homework. Finding a balance between schoolwork and
career can be tricky, but I think I’ve found mine. And I’m
always ready to learn new things
What do you think of your role in Fresh off The Boat?
How would you describe Nicole?
Nicole is a very strong personality. She’s never afraid of
standing up for herself. I really enjoy this role.
In your opinion, why is Musical.ly popular among the
teens?
I think it's popular because it's kinda the new buzz
around the social media world today and a lot of influencers
got very big off it but i mainly think it's big for the factor that
they directly communicate with their fans their 15 second
clips of them doing whatever they please like lip syncs,
singing, dancing, etc. Simply, we can just be ourselves.
How do you usually prepare for your role (or
audition)?
We’d read the scripts together. We’ll think about the role,
like ‘’ what would she do next?’’ or ‘’ What’d she be in real
life’’, and we’ll do the rehearsal.
