range of the Pseudomugilidae can boast as many different species as the
area around Timika in West Papua, Indonesia, formerly known as Irian
Jaya. During four trips, we found many different species and forms. This
report describes the biotopes in which we found them—essential facts for
enthusiasts who want set up truly appropriate aquariums for these beauties.
