manufacturer Pricol
Limited has entered into
an exclusive licensing
agreement with the US- based Kerdea
Technologies for Oxygen (O2) Sensor.
With Kerdea’s patented technology
in oxygen sensor and Pricol’s
manufacturing capabilities, this
product will be made ready to cater
to combustion engine applications in
the two-wheeler and three-wheeler
vehicle segments in India. “This
licensing partnership will contribute
to our constant efforts to deliver

robust, technologically advanced
and cost saving products in India.
After the roll-out of BS-VI norms by
2020, Pricol is expecting to add over
USD 60-70 million to its top line with
a healthy EBITDA margin with the
products developed through Kerdea’s
technology. In a fast-changing
environment, it is critical to draw
upon the highest level of expertise
to design the technologies of
tomorrow. We are excited to partner
with Kerdea to bring innovative,
ground-breaking technologies to our
Indian customers,” Vikram Mohan,
Managing Director, Pricol, said.

With this strategic partnership,
Pricol’s intention is to expand
its sensors portfolio in India and
be ready for the upcoming BS-
VI emission regulations which
the Government of India plans to
implement by 2020.

The oxygen or O2 sensor,is designed
to monitor constantly the oxygen
content in the exhaust gases from the
engine.
O2sensors help maintain the right air-
fuel mixture so that the engine runs
efficiently with emissions well within
the regulatory norms.

ercedes-Benz India has
launched the all new
Mercedes-AMG GLC
43 4MATIC Coupé. It
is Mercedes-Benz’s 10th AMG
product in its diverse performance
car portfolio in India. With this
launch, Mercedes-Benz India also
commemorated the global success of
its performance brand–AMG, which
completes 50 years in 2017. This SUV
Coupé embodies superlative driving
performance and agility.
The GLC 43 4MATIC Coupé,
the 8th product launched by the
brand in 2017, combines a sporty,
elegant design with the brand’s
hallmark ‘Driving Performance’
and the dynamic advantages of an
SUV. Priced at Rs 74.80 Lakh (ex-

showroom all India), it is the second
performance SUV Coupé from
Mercedes-Benz in India (after the
Mercedes-AMG GLE 43 Coupe).
