(NMIPL) has announced
changes to its senior
management team from
October 1, 2017.
Arun Malhotra, Managing Director,
NMIPL, has been appointed
Corporate Advisor, NMIPL. In this
new role Malhotra will leverage
his extensive expertise and deep
experience in the Indian automotive
sector to support the delivery of
Nissan India’s future growth goals
and network development plans.
He will report to Peyman Kargar,
Chairman of Nissan’s Africa, Middle
East and India (AMI) region and
interim president of Nissan India
Operations, and to Thomas Kuehl,
incoming President of Nissan
India Operations from October 1,
2017.
Jerome Saigot, currently Vice
President, Marketing and Datsun
Business Unit, NMIPL, will now be
responsible for Sales and Marketing,NMIPL, for both Nissan and
Datsun brands. Saigot will report
to Thomas Kuehl, and will continue
to be based at NMIPL’s office in
Gurgaon.
Peter Clissold, General Manager,
Marketing, AMI, will take up the role
of Vice President, Marketing, NMIPL,
with responsibility for both the Nissan
and Datsun brands in India. Clissold
will be based at NMIPL’s office in
Gurgaon, and will report to Jerome
Saigot.
Peyman Kargar said, “Nissan

manufacturing and R&D facilities,
and in our dealer network, in India.
We expect these appointments will
bring the right balance of experience
and new thinking to accelerate our
momentum as we strive to achieve our
ambitions for the Indian market.”D
ana Incorporated has
selected Christophe
Dominiak to serve as its
new Senior Vice President
and Chief Technology Officer. He
replaces George Constand, who is
retiring.
Dominiak most recently served as
Vice-President of Global Engineering
for Dana’s Off-Highway Drive and
Motion Technologies business since
February 2016. Previously, he was
Deputy Chief Technology Officer for
Hutchinson Industries Inc., a global
automotive and aerospace supplier.

General Meeting (AGM) at
Bangalore International Exhibition
Centre (BIEC) on September 6, 2017
in Bengaluru.
The Executive Committee meeting,
following the AGM, elected P
Ramadas, Managing Director, Ace
Manufacturing Systems Limited, as
the President of IMTMA, and Indradev
Babu, Managing Director, UCAM
Private Limited, as the Vice President
of the Association.Ramadas graduated as a Mechanical
Engineer from Karnataka Regional
Engineering College, Surathkal and
got his M.Tech in Machine Tools from
Indian Institute of Technology (IIT)- Madras, Chennai in 1970. He later
joined Hindustan Machine Tools as
a Design Engineer and developed
indigenous machine tools. Ramadas
was part of the design team which
developed the first NC Lathe in
1972-73 and led the development
of the first CNC Grinding machine
later. He has worked in MMC, Widia
and Mysore Kirloskar. He later joined
hands with the promoters of Ace
Designers Limited and started Ace
Manufacturing Systems Limited in
1994 to produce Machining Centres.
Babu has served as the Past
President of Bangalore Machine Tool
Manufacturers’ Network. He has also
served as the Chairman of IMTMA
