GAZ Shocks is well known for its involvement and
sponsorship of the BMW Compact Cup race series.
Now the company can offer a bump and rebound-
adjustable rear damper for road-going E36 Compacts.
GAZ fully-adjustable GT dampers enable the damping
bump and rebound rate to be adjusted to suit the
conditions and driving style by means of an easily
accessible knob on the side. The dampers come with
valving for general road use and they will also be
suitable for the occasional track slalom and sprint use.
GAZ GT dampers feature a zinc-plated body and have
a protective plastic sleeve to keep them looking good
and working well for long into the future. All units are
individually tested before leaving the factory and are
covered by a two-year warranty. Front dampers for
the Compact are the same as those for regular E
models and are also available from GAZ.

FOR G30 5 SERIES
The G30 has only been out for what feels like
five minutes but KW has already made its V
coilover kit available for the latest generation 5
Series. Made from stainless steel for superior
corrosion resistance, the V3 kit allows you to
lower your G30 5 Series by up to 55mm as
well as allowing for independent adjustment
of compression and rebound, enabling you
to fine-tune your car’s ride and handling
to perfection. The V3 kit offers 16 clicks of
rebound adjustment, allowing you to opt for
a more comfort-orientated ride at one end of
the scale or a firmer more controlled ride at
the other. A separate click wheel offers 12
stages of compression adjustment, allowing
you to eliminate just about all body roll, dial out
understeer and dial-in quicker turn-in. The V
kit also uses pre-set high speed compression
valves that allow the suspension to absorb big
bumps without destabilisng the car, even on
the lowest suspension setting.

Thinkware’s latest dash cam offering is the F100, which is available with an optional rear camera for added
security in the event of an incident. The F100 is equipped with an Ambarella A12 chipset and Sony Exmor
CMOS image sensor that records detailed full HD 1080p video at 30fps, a 135° wide viewing angle and a
built in Active Impact monitoring system, while the optional rear camera records HD 720p video at 30fps.
When hardwired, the F100 features Parking Surveillance Modes with Motion and Impact Detection. When
triggered, the dash cam records 20-second video clips, ensuring owners are able to capture incidents in
parking mode for up to 48 hours. The built-in impact sensor detects the level of force when your vehicle
sustains an impact and all footage is instantaneously saved to a memory card reducing potential data
corruption. When connected to the optional external GPS Antenna the F100 provides drivers regularly
updated information on verified speed/red–light camera locations and known mobile speed traps. The F
also allows for discreet installation due to its minimal size and black appearance and can be placed behind
the rear view mirror on the windscreen using 3M tape so the driver’s vision is not obscured.
