DESCENT:


GARUDA INDONESIAhas
postponed the launch of
proposed services to Moscow,
Los Angeles, Frankfurt and Paris
as part of its attempt to become
profitable and boost aircraft
utilisation.

ETIHADis pulling the plug on
its Dallas-Fort Worth service
in March, claiming it will be
“commercially unsustainable”
now that its codeshare with
American Airlines has ended.

Cathay Pacific is reducing the threshold needed to retain Green
tier status from 100 to just 20 points starting this month, as well
as offering extra points for long-haul economy and premium
economy flights into Hong Kong, and ultra-short-haul
Cathay Dragon flights in “most fare classes”.

Until January 30, 2018 Singapore Airlines Krisflyer members can
get triple miles on bookings with serviced-residence company

Members of Malaysia Airlines’ Enrich frequent flyer programme
now accrue miles when they take chauffeur rides with Blacklane,
