About Grand Hyatt Singapore
The 677-room hotel is located
on Scotts Road near the start
of Orchard Road, the city’s
commercial and entertainment
district. It features warm timber-
interior guestrooms and suites; five
unique dining concepts and a bar;
the Damai Spa & Fitness Centre;
and dynamic event spaces featuring
residential-style designs spanning
three extensive floors.

Paired with a selection of wholesome
dishes and beverages, as well as flexible
meeting space designed to inspire and
spark creativity, these new integrated
wellness activities ensure fun ways to
restore energy levels during a full day
of conferences and help delegates depart
revived and stimulated.
Designed for a variety of purposes,
with different levels of difficulty, and with
some incorporating a greater focus on
teamwork, these activities come in bite-
sized “Take Five” periods (complimentary
for in-house events), although planners
can also opt to have participants begin
the day with “Power Hours” such as
morning group runs or in-house exercises.
“We look at the whole-day meeting
experience and work with meeting
organisers on how we can infuse
action, thought and communication to
sustain memory retention and energy,”

says Spa Director Karu Nanithi. An NSCA-
and ACSM-certified personal trainer with
more than 20 years of experience in spa,
fitness and wellness, he has created a
menu of services that will help vitalise
any kind of meeting. Participants can also
enjoy menus featuring organic, low-fat,
sustainable and plant-based options.
Flavourful, wholesome meals will include
brown lentil shepherd’s pie, vegan-friendly
spelt-grain chilli, gluten-free muffins
and an organic salad bar featuring crisp
vegetables sourced from the Cameron
Highlands. Beverages will include
freshly squeezed juices, smoothies and
sustainable coffee.
“This is not just another package,
but rather a value-added service any
meeting organiser can request when
booking an event with us. Plant-based
and healthy menu items have been
naturally incorporated into all of our event
menus as part of our overall philosophy
of serving ‘Food. Thoughtfully sourced.
Carefully served’,” says F&B Operations
Director Jerome Pagnier.
