WHAT IS LUMINE? Lumine (say loo-min-nair) is a shopping mall in
Japan housing various independent trendy fashion boutiques under one
roof. If you have been to Shinjuku, Tokyo, chances are you would have
browsed at some of Lumine’s stores at its gigantic mall there. Too busy
for a holiday? Just swing by Clarke Quay Central, where the retail giant
has opened its first outlet outside of Japan. We got a sneak peek at the
10,000 sqf space, which was formerly occupied by homegrown design
shop Naiise and before that, Hongkong design label G.O.D.
