#OOTD TIME: Once you’re properly pooped out from shopping, rest your feet
and take a break at the adjoining minimalist Lumine Cafe. We think this is the most
Insta-worthy spot in the shop, decked out in #millennialpink and flooded with plenty of
natural light for that lit selfie. It’s run by the folks who own the popular matcha dessert
chain Maccha House and the now-defunct Pompompurin Cafe at Orchard Central. Other
than coffee, this cafe also serves a range of fruit-based parfaits like a limited edition
Melon Medley (pictured) with melon smoothie, yogurt, jelly and fresh muskmelons from
Shizuoka, Japan.

GO BANANAS: When you buy glasses from Zoff, you get a free
pouch that’s unique to the shop’s city. In Singapore, the company has
chosen to feature, er, Warhol-esque pop art bananas.

OH MICKEY YOU’RE SO FINE: Japanese
eyewear chain Zoff (think a trendier version of of
the ubiquitous, also-Japanese optician Owndays)
already has a standalone store at Orchard
Central, but it has partnered Lumine to open
its latest outlet here. Other than fashun frames
that you can get fitted with prescription lenses
in under half an hour, it also sells cutesy
eyewear accessories such as this
Mickey Mouse sunglasses perch.
So extra, but so adorbs that we
now consider it a necessity.
