negotiate with the Jiangs
as Haohao’s biological
father, so that Yongzhen and
Haohao can leave with him.
Hansheng advises him not
to be rash, as Haohao is the
sole heir now and Yongzhen
may never see him again if
the truth is revealed.
Xiaocao sends a
message to Hansheng,
asking him to save Feihu.
Minmin sneers at Feihu
for asking her out instead of
dealing with An’an and Ailin.
He flares up and prepares
to get rid of her for good.
Shuibo and Hansheng arrive
in time to stop him.
Jinlan and Jack look on
and are annoyed their plan is
being thwarted.
After Jinlan tells Shuibo
how Feihu and Ailin had
a one-night stand, he and
Hongshan beat Feihu up in
spite of Hansheng’s advice
to investigate the matter.
Xiaocao rushes to Feihu’s
rescue.
Jinlan is triumphant. She
further reveals that Minmin
is Shuibo’s granddaughter.
Wuxiong verifies this.
Feihu tells Minmin off
for lamenting her ill fortune.
She leaves in a huff.
Hansheng brings Xiaocao
home and tells Tangtang to
address her as aunt.
Xiaocao tells Aiting that
when she first met her,
she wondered whether she
would have been just as
pretty if she did not have
Highlander’s Syndrome. She
thanks Jianhua for taking
good care of her little sister.
Xiaocao does not
intend to stay for good, but
promises to come back
often and keep in contact
with Hansheng and the
others.
After leaving Hansheng’s
house, Xiaocao is harassed
by thugs. Feihu saves her
and expresses his feelings
for her. She cannot bring
herself to let him remain
with her.
Shuibo pays respects
to the Lins’ ancestors and
is ashamed that he had let
one of his grandchildren be
brought up by an evil man.
Hongshan blames himself
for everything and urges his
ancestors to punish him.
Shuibo does not want
to acknowledge Minmin, as
he knows the Lins will be in
trouble if someone like her
enters the family.
Yimei suspects Jinlan is
lying. Shuibo and Hongshan
have their suspicions too.
Hongshan suggests a DNA

Ailin tells Aiting how Minmin
had set her and Feihu up.
Aiting cannot believe the
Lins would have such a
descendant. She worries
when Ailin says she feels
nauseous.
Letian (Jian’an) praises
Minmin for making Xiaozu
the father of her baby, whenit was Ailin who went to bed
with Xiaozu that night. Hating
the Lins for looking down on
her, Minmin decides never to
reveal the truth, so that Ailin
and Xiaozu will continue to
be miserable.
Xiaowen and Wenxing
are unhappy to see Minmin
enjoying tea with Letian.
Xiaowen tells her off, but
is insulted for committing
adultery with Wenxing.
Letian tells Xiaowen not
to insult Minmin and reveals
that Minmin is Shuibo’s
granddaughter. Wenxing, who
has known Ailin for years, is
incredulous that she would
have a sister like Minmin.
Xiaowen and Wenxing
throw a pie and wine on
Minmin. Letian spikes their
drinks and tricks them into
believing he has removed
Xiaowen’s eyeballs. His
actions remind Wenxing and
Xiaowen of the crazy Jian’an.
Feihu saves Xiaocao yet
again and is injured. Xiaocao
finally accepts Feihu’s love.
Ailin is about to arrange
for an abortion when
Zhengnan asks her out. She
is surprised when Zhengnan
takes her to the park where
she had wanted to celebrate
Xiaozu’s birthday.
Xiaozu appears and
relates how Heilong had
knocked him out and sent
him overseas the day hewas supposed to marry Ailin.
Hansheng and Tiancheng
managed to save him.
Zhengnan hopes Ailin will
give Xiaozu another chance.
Promising to treat Ailin well
for the rest of his life, Xiaozu
urges her to marry him. She
yearns to, but is reminded of
her baby.
Ailin rejects Xiaozu and
leaves. Xiaozu presumes
she must be upset because
Minmin is pregnant, and
hopes to settle that matter
separately.
Xiaowen tells the
housekeeper in America not
to tell Heilong that Xiaozu
has left their villa.
Xiaozu calls on Xiaowen
and asks for medicine
to abort Minmin’s baby.
Xiaowen cannot bear to
allow this, and replaces the
medicine with a supplement.
Letian overhears her
conversation with Wenxing.
Minmin is taken aback
when Xiaozu looks her up
and proposes that they
register their marriage right
away. Knowing Letian is after
the Fang fortune and she
can use this chance to upset
Ailin, she accepts.
Shuibo learns about
Xiaozu’s failed marriage
proposal at the park. He
wonders why Xiaozu had
gone to see Minmin, right
