Takuji Kogo: * CANDY
FACTORY PROJECTS 2017
Led by Japanese visual artist and curator Takuji Kogo,
*CANDY FACTORY PROJECTS is a Japanese-based
platform for international collaborative art projects,
featuring a selection of video works and sculptural
installations by world-renowned artists including
Young-hae Chang Heavy Industries (South Korea), Mike
Bode (Sweden), John Miller (USA), Charles Lim Yi Yong
(Singapore) and Kogo himself.

Always Moving:
The Batik Art of
Sarkasi Said
This solo exhibition by
artist Sarkasi Said features
his batik works from the
1990s to the present.
Eleven works are included

demonstrating Said’s
shifting interests and styles.

Rediscovering Treasures:
Ink Art from the Xiu Hai Lou
Collection. The largest and
most established private
collection of Chinese
painting and calligraphy
in Singapore. Founded by
the late Mr Yeo Khee Lim,
it draws on close to 100
works to offer visitors a rare
insight into the evolution of
modern Chinese painting,
featuring masterpieces by
prominent artists such as
Qi Baishi, Xu Beihong and
Zhang Daqian.

The Singapore Dance Theatre presents its annual
contemporary season of the year by showcasing
new works and ballets from their repertoire.
Highlights include the world premiere of a new
piece by Toru Shimazaki, the company premiere
of Val Caniparoli’s Triptych, and Ma Cong’s
Incomparable Beauty.
