at Zhong Ai. With Fang Ting
and Yiwei, she goes to Ben’s
house, planning to coax
Xiaoshuai to move into her
house.
Zhong Ai, Yiwei and
Fang Ting find Xiaoshuai
with Mary. Zhong Ai doesn’t
realise it’s Mary who is
pestering Xiaoshuai. When
she tells him off, he quarrels
with her.
Fang Ting hopes Zhong
Ai will allow Xiaoshuai to
pursue his swimming dream
alongside his studies. Zhong
Ai feels he is not good
enough academically to take
a semester off to train. She
fears he will not be able to
catch up with his school
work.
Yufeng wants her son,
Tiancai, to keep his distance
from Fang Ting. She does
not think Fang Ting should
have fought with gangsters
in Geylang.
Yijie professes his
feelings for Bai Yun, but is
rejected. She declines a
date with him and goes to
meet Xiaoshuai instead. Yijie
thinks she likes Xiaoshuai.Fang Ting lays a wager
with Zhong Ai: If Xiaoshuai
reaches a swimming target,
they will allow him to train

Yijie and Youwan are late for
school and given demerit
points. They had helped
an elderly person who was
injured after a fall, and
waited until the ambulance
arrived.
Yaozu is caught sneaking
into the ladies’ washroom
and taking upskirt photos.
Because this is a repeat
offence, he is expelled from
school. Fang Ting insists the
punishment is too harsh for
a teenager, and continues to
show concern for him.
Youwan is elated when a
modelling company contacts
her for an interview. Her
mother, Li Xue, learns she
was absent and kicks up
a fuss at school. Youwan
apologises to Fang Ting,
and shares that she is being
pressured by her mother to
continue her studies even
though she wants to quit
school.
Zhong Ai meets Yiwei for
lunch. His employee, Zheng
Jiayi, tags along uninvited.
She deliberately mentions
the difference in educationalbackground between Zhong
Ai and Yiwei.
Zhong Ai is pleasantly
surprised when Fang Ting
brings Xiaoshuai home for
lunch. She sets a swimming
target for him, and promises
to send him overseas if he
reaches it. He accepts the
challenge.
Fang Ting announces
that Xiaoshuai is moving into
their house. Yijie flies into a

Zhong Ai laments that the
plan to let Xiaoshuai live with
them has been derailed.
Fang Ting consoles her and
promises to persuade Yijie
to accept him.
Fang Ting has a talk with
Yijie. He threatens to move
out if she insists on letting
Xiaoshuai move in. Much to
his surprise, she agrees to
let him move out.
The lecturer commends
Bai Yun’s short film, saying
it’s well shot with good
acting.
Bai Yun shares the good
news with Xiaoshuai. Yijie
sees them together and is
filled with jealousy.
Zhong Ai goes shopping
with Yiwei. Irked by Jiayi’s
continuous texting, she
demands Yiwei fire Jiayi as
soon as possible.
Yet again, Yijie quarrels
with Fang Ting. He insists he
will not only move out, he will
also fail all his subjects on
purpose.
Bai Yun accompanies
Xiaoshuai to a swimming
training session. Yijie rushes
to the pool to drag her away.
It dawns on Xiaoshuai that
Yijie loathes him because of
Bai Yun.
Fang Ting and Zhong Ai
also arrive at the pool to
watch Xiaoshuai training.
Unable to concentrate, he
performs poorly.
Yiwei recommends Jiayi
to a new job, but she insists
