Monolith Marvel
Once known for being a grain monolith,
The Silo in Cape Town is situated above the
Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa
(MOCAA) which will house the single largest
collection of contemporary African art in
the world. The most significant change is
the addition of pillowed glass windows on
the upper floors to complement the existing
geometry of the hotel. These windows bulge
outward, and by night, transform the building
into a majestic beacon in the harbour.
The hotel also features a spa, as well as a
panoramic rooftop bar with swimming pool.
