TRAVEL + LEISURE WEDDINGS & HONEYMOONS
FOR THE SUBLIME TROPICAL HAVEN
MAURITIUS
Known for its stunning scenery, beautiful beaches,
and warm hospitality, Mauritius is a great choice for
pre-wedding photoshoots. Whether you pick one of its
awe-inspiring secret beaches or the virtually unknown
mountain ranges, the island helps you celebrate your
love in an extraordinary setting.
The Black River Gorges National Park, which
is in the southwestern mountain ranges of Mauritius,
is great for an outdoorsy couple’s album. Think
rainforests, hills, sparkling waterfalls, and gorges.
Alternatively, adventurous couples can get their
photographs taken while deep sea diving or snorkelling.
THAILAND
If you’re looking for an exotic location, Thailand is the
place to go. There’s more to the country than Bangkok,
Chiang Mai, and Phuket. There are several unique
options in Thailand, some of them include national
parks, ancient Khmer ruins, waterfalls, rainforests,
and hidden beaches such as Koh Lao Liang, Nai Harn
Beach, Koh Kood, and Koh Lipe.
Thailand’s Elephant Conservation Centre, located
in the town of Lampang in northern Thailand, is an
excellent venue where you can bathe elephants and
take elephant rides.
Now that you are here, capture memories at the
Bangkok fl oating market, Buddhist temples, and the
fl ower markets. Another unusual option is Bangkok’s
Central Park, which is known as Lumpini Park. You
can rent boats and paddle around the artifi cial lake
while posing for the camera.
PICKING SIDES
While Mauritius is a year-
round destination, travelling to
Thailand depends on time
of the year. The vibe of Mauritius
is romantic and Thailand is exotic.
Mauritius is suitable for integrated
resort holidays, whereas
Thailand has so much to
see and explore.
