Last month, Travel+Leisure India & South Asia hosted
the sixth edition of India’s Best Awards at ITC Maurya,
New Delhi. It was a night of glamorous camaraderie
as some of the world’s leading hoteliers, regional
and international tourism board professionals, and friends
from the luxury fashion and lifestyle industry got together
to celebrate the winners. The award for Best Hotel Group
went to Hyatt Hotels Corporation and AccorHotels,
Best Country to Switzerland, and Best Emerging
Destination to Bahrain and Korea. Over the course of the
night, popular VJ, TV host, and entertainer Cyrus Sahukar
anchored the show, Mr Hans Christian Winkler, Head of
Press Department, German Embassy delivered the
keynote speech, and guests networked over dinner
consisting fine delicacies from ITC Maurya’s signature
restaurants, Bukhara and Dum Pukht.
