for this gem in Mong Kok
for its selections of ales,
IPAs, and lagers on tap.

brewery features an

Kong brews by Young Master

Cé La Vi
Singapore export Cé La Vi
maintains its stunning rooftop
locale at its Hong Kong
outpost. Occupying the top
three floors of the California
Tower, at the club’s highest
level is an open air SkyBar
with a rooftop garden. Go one

more than 250 craft gins from around the world.
MRS POUND
Don’t be fooled by the Chinese stamp
display in the glass window —a secret
button opens a sliding door to reveal
a fun Asian diner and bar. In-the-know
locals flock to this speakeasy in
Sheung Wan with an interesting
backstory. The story goes that Mrs Pound
was a burlesque dancer who fell in love
with a respected Hong Kong local,
Mr Ming. He hides her away in his stamp
shop, where she has a free reign. You may
not score a rendezvous with the elusive
Mrs Pound, but you can always grab
a cocktail and some Asian street food
within the hot pink walls of this trendy
little bar. mrspound.com
DR. FERN’S GIN PARLOUR
Hong Kong’s gin quaffers can often be found huddled in the
basement of The Landmark, pouring over a menu featuring
more than 250 craft and premium gins from around the
world. One of the newest entrants on the city’s barscape,
the deep wooden interiors and cabinets crammed with vials
and bottles lend the exclusive bar a vintage feel. G&Ts
are aplenty, but try the craft cocktails featuring organic,
farm-fresh produce. drfernshk.com
where you can dance at DJ
nights amidst the vertical
gardens. For a meal, head
down to the warm wood-lined
restaurant for an Asian spread.

The Fringe Club
Set in a heritage colonial
building dating back to 1819,
The Fringe Club is synonymous
with Hong Kong’s arts and
music scene. The open-air
rooftop is a lovely spot for a
drink with friends, with
a great view of the tightly packed
buildings of Hong Kong’s
Central and the Mid-Levels.
Head down to Fringe Dairy,
an intimate space that hosts
live jazz and cabaret on the
weekends. hkfringeclub.com ▪
Crammed with bars and
restaurants, LKF, as it is
popularly known, is among Hong
Kong’s hottest nightlife districts.
Rooftop bars and street-side
clubs spill over with partygoers
dressed to the nines. LKF has
something for every budget: dive
bars, swish clubs with visiting
DJs, and casual pubs. Stop by
Hong Kong Brewhouse for
a craft beer and, for a change
of scene, pop in to Hanjan—
a Korean-style bar—for a Kimchi
Fizz, a kimchi and ginseng
cocktail. lankwaifong.com
