Sunny goes on a date with
the Grim Reaper on New
Year’s eve. She suggests
they part ways, and tells him
not to call her anymore.
Meanwhile, Enzhuo
waits excitedly for the clock
to chime midnight. She is
officially an adult, and drags
Jin Xin out to have her first
taste of alcohol.
The next day, the Grim
Reaper reveals gloomily that
he and Sunny are no longer
together. Sunny has run out
of patience, waiting for him
to tell her his real name
and who he really is. Enzhuo
advises him to tell Sunny
he’s an angel.
During a game of chess
with Chairman Liu, Jin Xin
has a sudden premonition
that Chairman Liu’s life is
going to end soon. He looks
at Chairman Liu in stunned
silence. Clearly, Chairman
Liu also knows his fate.
The Grim Reaper tells Jin
Xin he believes Sunny is the
reincarnation of his sister.
What they don’t know is that
the Grim Reaper was Wang Li
in his past life.
Jin Xin goes to the fried
chicken shop. He grabs
Sunny in a hug when he sees
her, and tells her that he is
her brother. The Grim Reaper
explains that Sunny was Jin
Xin’s sister in her past life.

Sunny asks for proof that
she was Jin Xin’s sister.
He shows her the scroll
portrait, but she doesn’t
remember anything about
her past life.
Jin Xin relates the past
to Sunny. The story brings
a sharp pain to her chest.
She asks if Wang Li was
reincarnated too. Jin Xin
doesn’t know.
It’s Enzhuo’s graduation
day. While her classmates
are congratulated by their
parents, she sits dejectedly
at her desk alone. Samshin
appears with a bouquet of
flowers to congratulate her.
Jin Xin gives Enzhuo her
mother’s bankbook with
the insurance payout as a
graduation gift.
The Grim Reaper tells Jin
Xin he has received a new
death card with Enzhuo’s
name on it. He reveals that
she will fall to her death in
two weeks’ time.
Jin Xin thinks of
Samshin’s warning that
Enzhuo will face death again
and again, until either one of
them dies. He tells Enzhuo
the truth about her being
fated to die if she doesn’t
pull out his sword.
The Grim Reaper is sitting
in Sunny’s empty shop. He is
startled when she returns
to the shop because she
has forgotten her phone. He
quickly puts on his hat to
become invisible.
Sunny walks out and
returns with a cherry tree
branch. She swipes the
branch over his head and
knocks his hat to the ground.
The Grim Reaper becomes
visible in front of her.WED DEC 20
10pm Episode 18
The Grim Reaper tells hisjunior about a missing soul
that he ran into 20 years
ago. The soul seemed to
have been lingering in this
world a very long time and
wasn’t afraid of reapers. He
eventually got away.
At the fried chicken shop,
the missing soul appears
before Enzhuo and greets
her. He is the ghost of the
eunuch from the Goryeo era,
Pu Zhongyuan.
Time goes back to the
day Samshin had a drink
with Dehua. Samshin asked
Dehua why he had forced
Jin Xin to meet Wang Li,
the person who caused
his death. Dehua said
that everything happened
because of fate. Samshin
told Dehua to stop
tormenting them.
Back in the present, the
Grim Reaper and Jin Xin
have started to become
suspicious of Dehua’s real
identity. They confront him.
Dehua turns out to be God
himself.
The Grim Reaper finds
Chairman Liu’s name on
his death card. He tells Jin
Xin, so that he will have the
chance to see Chairman Liu
for the last time. However,
Jin Xin says he has already
said everything he wants to.
Alone in his room, Jin Xin
starts to sob.
Dehua is going through
the resumes of a list of
applicants for the company.A man named Jin Yuzhi
catches Jin Xin’s eye.THUR DEC 21
10pm Episode 19
Secretary Kim is appointed
the new chairman after
Chairman Liu’s demise. He
hires Yuzhi, shows him the
new apartment provided by
the company, and promises
many great things for his
future.
Yuzhi was Jin Xin’s
second-in-command in his
previous life. He was the
man who vowed to follow Jin
Xin in death before thrusting
the sword into Jin Xin’s
chest.
The Grim Reaper hopes
to get answers to who he
was. A reaper’s kiss will
allow a person to recall his
past life. He kisses Sunny.
All the memories flood
into her mind. He wishes
for her to only recall happy
memories and forget the
sad ones. He hopes she will
forget him as well.
The next day, when
Jin Xin arrives at the fried
chicken shop, Sunny
acknowledges him as her
brother and apologises for
taking so long to remember.
Enzhuo recounts to Jin
Xin her encounter with the
ghost of Zhongyuan. At
night, Jin Xin manages to
find Zhongyuan. He tries
in vain to slash the ghost
