DESTINATION WEDDINGS

The most important part of the planning
is the initial consultation. You do not
need to visit Malta ahead of your
wedding, but it certainly helps with
making you feel more at ease, allowing
you to experience the venue atmosphere,
see it in use and of course allows you to
go to the all important taste testings.
In terms of venues, Blue Marble aren’t
affiliated with particular venues, they
have contacts at venues across the
island and will always recommend
according to what the couple’s needs are.
Once they have an idea of what you’d
like your wedding to be like, they draw
up a mood board that will help finalise
decisions. You can also rely on them
to negotiate the best prices from all
suppliers.
FOOD GLORIOUS FOOD
Catering is one of Blue Marble’s USPs. They
offer a complete range of kitchen equipment
for Indian cuisine. As function locations can
be several, a central kitchen is setup with
a leading Maltese catering company and
specialised Indian Chefs from India. All dietary
requirements can be catered for.

THEY’VE GOT THE LOOK
Blue Marble has invested into décor structures
and accessories for Indian weddings including
mandaps, ethnic fabrics and wedding
ceremony accessories which are available to
rent.

FINALISING THE AFFAIR
Weddings abroad have more considerations

than those at home but these logistics are all
taken care of by Blue Marble who can arrange
flights with Air Malta, look after invitations and
RSVPS, transport connections, visas if required,
and the legal side of the marriage taking place.

ON THE DAY
For guests, attending a wedding should also
be easy. On the day Blue Marble set up an
exclusive hospitality desk at your venue as a
personal concierge for the wedding guests and
the team will assist guests with all their needs
from arranging garment ironing, ladies make-
up salons, signage, hotel spa discounts and
customised room service menus.

The more time there is to prepare a wedding, the more likely it is
you’ll get exactly what you’re after. Six months is ideal, anything
less and it may not be possible to get your chosen venue. It’s also
recommended you arrive on the island three days ahead of your
wedding allowing you to settle in and meet the team ensuring all
final plans are taken care of, before the fun can well and truly begin.
