YOUR LOVE STORIES
What did you feed your guests?
I: We served up a traditional Indian and
Bangladeshi feast with welcome drinks
and dessert.
Any highlights from the Big Day?
I: It was great to see our guests pray
together and have our nikkah ceremony
conducted by my childhood teacher
Imam. After the reception we had our
family photos then rode off into the
sunset just like a movie.
A: For me the main highlight was the
nikkah ceremony it was the first time
we had prayed together. The sunset
that day was breathtaking; it was like a
fairytale ending...
What’s next for you both, please
tell us there’s another episode of
The Corner Shop Show on the way?
A: I’m going to continue with my
wedding stationary business but I’m
no longer alone. Not only do I have
my husband, but my small team have
joined forces with his team. Now my
complete focus is on the creative parts
and the innovative ideas for expanding.
My ultimate dream is to have my own
wedding venue, inclusive of all types of
services. I finally see it happening now
that I have my husband by my side. He
is literally my rock.
I: Now that the wedding is over, I can
fully focus on my acting and filmmaking
career. I’ve got lots of events I’m going
to be hosting too. I’m going to get back
into the gears of continuing my comedy
series The Corner Shop Show including
plans to make a feature film. I’ve always
wanted to make a mark in the wedding
videography business, now that my
wife is by my side she’s given me the
encouragement and the help that I’ve
always needed. It’s the best feeling in
the world that my wife is my business
partner and most importantly my best
friend.
A: Awwwwwwwww
I: Listen woman, go make me a cup of
tea.
A: Why did you have to ruin it?
