Since Armeena’s
signature style
is more subtle,
it was a joy
to dress her
in decadent
bridalwear.
She looked like
royalty in every
outfit, whilst her regal,
elegant look complements
our collection perfectly. Pastel hues looked
sumptuous against her glowing skintone, so we
went for blush pink and mint green, along with
a striking palette of emerald green and indigo.
She suits both traditional and contemporary
looks, so I chose some princess gowns, a
perfect silhouette for her delicate frame, as well
as classic cut lenghas and a fusion ensemble,
featuring a floral lengha with modern finishings
and gota fused with zardosi embellishments.
Armeena loves classic looks with antique
embroideries and vintage style is also trending,
which is why we incorporated these ensembles
into Armeena’s makeover. Our ethos at Sonas
Couture is to create bespoke weddingwear, to
complement a bride’s personality and shape
and it was great to do this for Armeena.’

Effortlessly beautiful
Armeena was a
dream to glam
up. Although
she doesn’t
need make-
up since she
has a natural
glow and flawless
complexion anyway,
I focussed on her pretty, soft
eyes, creating a smokey, bronze look, with neutral
lips; a contemporary visage that is popular these
days for brides, whilst also using a bold lip for
a more glamorous and sultry look - an image
that Armeena and her fans don’t usually get to
enjoy. Throughout the shoot, we experimented
with different looks, styling her hair in an elegant
and classic updo, which worked perfectly with
the decadent headpieces, whilst flaunting her
glossy, thick long tresses, worn down sleek and
straight, as well as glamorous curls. Armeena was
very open minded at trying different colours and
looks, which was great as it meant I could get
creative with the make-up palette and try various
styles in her hair, before choosing the perfect
look for her. With picture-perfect features, every
kind of theme suited her.
