The 45-year-old was
appointed head coach of
the Swans in January 2017 in
succession to Bob Bradley.
He picked up his first victory
in his new position here at
Anfield as his side edged out
the Reds 3-2.
Paul's coaching career
began at Chelsea and he
had spells as assistant-boss
at Blackburn Rovers, Paris
Saint-Germain and Real
Madrid, the latter two posts
under Carlo Ancelotti. He had
his first position as a number
one at Derby County in June
2015 before having a brief
spell coaching England's
Under-21s team under Gareth
Southgate.
After a spell back as
Ancelotti's assistant, this time
at Bayern Munich, he moved
to the Liberty Stadium. Under
his guidance, Swansea City
collected 26 points from their
final 18 games of last season
to secure their Premier
League status.

The 32-year-old Pole is in his
fourth season at the Liberty
Stadium since making the
switch from Arsenal. Following
the game at Everton eight days
ago, no-one had made more
Premier League saves this
season than his 72. He started
his career with Legia Warsaw
back in Poland.

to Paul Clement last month.

8 Leroy Fer midfielder (27) Dutch
Ex-Feyenoord and FC Twente man
who played Prem football for Norwich
and QPR before joining the Swans.
