n 10 November 2017, a handful
of luxury journalists, together with
Brenda Pek, Director of Marketing,
BMW Asia, Anthony Seow, Managing
Director, Cards and Unsecured Loans at
DBS, and Chris Cong, CEO, ION Orchard
Turn Developments Pte Ltd, got together over
flaky croissants and Eggs Florentine for an
insightful breakfast roundtable discussion
on the changing face of luxury, as well as the
habits of Ultra High Net Worth Individuals
(UHNWIs) in Singapore.
The lively discussion centered on how
providers of luxury goods and services go
the extra mile to attract and retain customers,
as well as sharing observations on changing
habits, behaviour, and expectations.
Meanwhile, other topics that were brought
into the discussion ranged from appealing to
affluent millennials and relationship building to
digital initiatives and the bright future of luxury.
