“When I saw we were playing
Everton my first thought was
that it will be another exciting
match for our fans and a very
interesting match for all the
people in the city,” he explains.
“Every game is important but
there is naturally a little bit more
interest when you are playing
your local rivals.

“First and foremost we know
that Everton are a very good
team and they have shown that
in the last few weeks. So it will be
a really difficult game for us but
we are at home and the night
games at Anfield under the lights
are always special so we will be
hoping that we can make it a
good night for ourselves and
our supporters.”
