N
ow that the dust has
finally settled on
the New Year, how
are you going with
those resolutions?
At The CEO Magazine,
we resolved to make a
few positive changes that will inspire the team
and build on our international profile. We’re going
to get a lot more involved in events; holding our
own and sponsoring others. Charity golf days,
a corporate box at the cricket... they’re simple
things that we can do that will make a big
difference to our teams globally.
As our magazine continues to grow, we now
have offices on three continents, with plans for
more. If you are a CEO who has offices around
the world, or just wonders how on earth people
pull off the juggling act of different time zones,
languages and cultures, then you’ll enjoy our
article on Being a Global Boss (p18).
Although I think my favourite story this
month has to be our exploration of some
unconventional ways to upskill as a CEO (p34).
Who would have thought that being James Bond
for a day with some Special Forces spy training
(and a few martinis at the end of it, naturally)
can be a lesson in leadership? I’m definitely
signing up for that one!
There’s plenty more to inspire, with a sneak
peek at Apple’s shiny new space-age HQ, the
hottest new hotel openings for 2018, everything
you need to know about Nordic and nice
Stockholm, as well as a rather thrilling test-drive
of the new Aston Martin DB11.
Enjoy the issue, see you next month.
