Markus Roth
Born in 1976, Markus Roth’s passion for photography reaches all the way back to his childhood. The son
of well-known sports photographer, Hans-Alfred Roth, he learned in childhood how fascinating it is to
captivate special moments on film or memory chip. He particularly likes extraordinary remote places and
recent trips have taken him several times to the island of Papua New Guinea, and most recently to the
lush islands of Fiji, featured this time. His pictures and articles have been published in magazines and
newspapers worldwide – you can see more of his work at http://www.maro-visions.de

Clay Cox
A native Australia’s Gold Coast, Clay is currently completing an Exercise Science degree at Griffith
University. He picked up his first camera six years ago and has been building a portfolio in portraiture and
events while pursing a passion for landscapes. His most recent trip saw him trek the High Passes route
in Nepal with World Expeditions during which he celebrated his 20th birthday. In between university,
photography and travel, he is an avid Australian Rules Football player, striving to make the grade at the
professional level.

Gregg Yan
Adventurer and environmentalist, Gregg continues to share tales from the mountains, forests and reefs
of the Philippines. Voted by Asia Pacific Business Insider as Asia Pacific’s top advocacy communicator
in 2016, he’s spent huge amounts of time photographing animals, patrolling with rangers, studying
tribal cultures and writing about environmental solutions with Oceana, WWF and the Best Alternatives
Campaign. For this issue, he sailed to Bais in a bid to find some of the rarest whales in the Philippines.

Foto Mo
Hailing from Hong Kong, Foto is a sports photographer, mainly focused on the running scene. He likes
to emphasise the sometimes surprising natural beauty of the territory’s trails and has shot many key races
including the Country of Origin, The Green Race, The North Face 100 Hong Kong and several of those
run by Action Asia Events. He is presently sponsored by The North Face Hong Kong, a relationship that
saw him shoot the cover and gatefold images that front this issue. Foto is founder of The Moment Sports
Photography and you can follow him at http://www.facebook.com/themomentsports/

he is a freelance cycling and adventure photojournalist based in northern Thailand. From there, he strikes
