Big picture
Mountain biking doesn’t always
have to be about the gnarliest
lines, the loamiest turns or
the most flowing singletrack.
Sometimes you don’t need
corners, or gradient, to enjoy a
trail. This avenue of beech trees
on the Quantocks is one such spot,
where the trees provide shelter
from the winds blowing off the
Bristol Channel in the winter, offer
shade from the sun in the summer
and create windows that frame the
sumptuous views beyond.
