Big picture
It is fair to say bikes and snow
have a love-hate relationship,
moderated by temperature. On
a mild day following snowfall
you’ll likely be cursing a lack of
traction, with cold and soggy
extremities. If you play your cards
right on a cooler day remaining
above freezing, you should be
carving out lines at speed, and
relishing in traction over snow-
filled rock gardens. Technical
lines become manageable,
with a layer of mother nature’s
safety barrier thrown in for good
measure, should things not stay
rubber side down.
