companies and people to get bikes out there.
There’s still some final stuff to sort out – we’re in
need of a new truck, for instance, so we’re on the web
asking questions about Scanias and such (it’s a shame
Guy Martin’s not on the team for that, we’d be sorted).
But by and large we’re there.
And we’re already taking the first step into
expanding what we’re putting on grids. We’ve bought a
Yamaha R3 from Raceways Yamaha, and we’re going to
turn it in to a British Supersport 300 contender. We’ve
signed local lad Harris Beech to ride it: I’ll build the bike
in the first instance, and oversee the care of it over the
season, with someone else running it at race meetings.
It’s a chance for us to give someone a break in racing,
and hopefully nurture a future talent.
