On the academy side, the Kota Permai

Golf Academy (KPGA) is headed by

teaching professional Ng Shern Wei,

who graduated from Victoria University

Australia in Sports Science and has seven

years of teaching experience to his name.

Together with him in his team of teaching

instructors are teaching professional

Tommy Chin whom is also from the

same university and has had seven

years teaching experience in various

coaching academies before joining the

KPGA team. Last but not least is teaching

professional Wong Hon Mun - a graduate

from the United States Golf Teachers

Federation who has been coaching in

Bukit Jalil before basing himself in Kota

Permai four years ago. Hon Mun currently

not only teaches but is also overseeing

the overall daily operations of the Golf

Partner Driving Range.

Lesson packages are now available

for beginners as well as experienced

golfers, ranging from individual packages

to group packages as well as on course

lessons. Lessons are open to all members

of Kota Permai GCC and as well as the

members of the public. In playing their

part in developing the future or the next

generation of golfing professionals here

in Malaysia, KPGA and Golf Partner are

already in collaboration with Dwi Emas

and Sri Emas International School to

kick-start the Junior Golf Academy in

2018. The tie up looks to combine the
      skills and experience of all parties to
      offer a program that encompasses golf
      skills, fitness, nutrition and mental training
      through brain-training technology.
      Director of Transview Golf Sdn Bhd,
      Mr. Frankie Choo shared, “We want to
      be a true partner that is trusted and loved
      by all golfers. We definitely have the right
      formula here at the Golf Partner Driving
      Range, where we offer all the services
      that a golfer would ever need, from
      the driving range to the academy and
      pro shop to the golf fitting centre. The
      Golf Partner pro shop at the range also
      provides the opportunity for customers

to try all the clubs in the shop at the

hitting bays and they are able to test and

see the actual ball flight for themselves

before purchase. Golf Partner provides

good quality used clubs from Japan and

also applies an exchange policy where

they accept exchange with 80% of the

purchased value within 7 days and 70%

of the purchased value within 8 to 14

days. With such a policy, golfers do not

need to worry should they have a change

of heart, as they could always walk into a

Golf Partner shop to exchange it. Hence,

we believe, with all these services and

facilities in place as we are the one stop

centre choice for all golfers out there.”
