an appointment soon, doing so could prove
appreciably easier than before.

APPLE STORES ARE STILL WELL-
RECEIVED BY APPLE FANS
The proof of the pudding, an apple-flavored
one or otherwise, is in the eating – and crowds
were in raptures at various Apple Stores around
the world as the iPhone 11 series first became
available to buy. Customer demand for the new
models on the first day of release was stronger
than expected at these stores, with venture
capital firm Loup Ventures citing the line of
shoppers at Fifth Avenue as almost 90% longer
than it was on last year’s release day for the
iPhone XS and XR.
Loup also reported that this line of customers
waiting to buy one of the iPhone 11 models
was longer than the equivalent line for the
iPhone 7 and iPhone 8 arrivals in 2016 and 2017
respectively, and roughly matched the length
of the line for the much-anticipated iPhone X
in 2017. Loup also thought it boded well that
eight out of 10 customers waiting for an iPhone
11 model purchased a Pro or Pro Max variant,
both higher-end models with better camera
functionality and battery life.
“This is a sign that the new camera system and
battery appear to be enough of an upgrade to
keep loyal Apple fans engaged,” Loup observed
in a blog post. We can expect the Apple Stores
at which people buy these devices to keep
