Teacher of History (One Academic Year)
Ampleforth is one of Europe’s foremost Catholic boarding schools, committed to
all round excellence and academic ambition. This post will provide the successful
applicant with the opportunity to join us in working with students to cultivate
learning as an attitude, a value for life.
We are recruiting for a well-qualified and enthusiastic Teacher of History to start in
September 2018 for one academic year. The appointed person will contribute to the
teaching of KS3 and KS4 students up to A Level.
This post would equally suit a teacher with teaching experience or a newly qualified
teacher.
A willingness to play a full part in the boarding and extra-curricular life of the school
is essential.

experience, or potential, to teach highly motivated, bright pupils across all ages up to
A level. This position would suit teachers at any stage of their career, including an NQT
