any years ago in Malaysia a
new “Made in Italy” brand
met an important Asian
company and a story of
business and friendship began and still
continues to be written and told.

The Italian manufacturer of retreading
rubber consumable MAe InDUSTRIA
GoMMA is present in the Asian market
thanks to a strong relation with neWeRA
GRoUP since 1987 when Malatesta
and chen started their cooperation
distributing the “S” curing tubes, at the
time flagship product of MAe company.

Years after, when MAe started

manufacturing curing envelopes,

neWeRA gave a fundamental help

framing the main aspects expected from

Asian retreaders and allowing MAe to

establish in the market the well-known

SL envelope line when there was the

bumming of pre-cure tyre retreading in

Asia. In the recent years, in addition to

the SL range, the company introduced

the new compression molding MAe ST

envelope line, which has been accepted

very positively by the market.

This strong cooperation has gone

through these years enriching itself with

new products specific to the requests

and needs of users of every part of the

immense Asia, at least every year a

physical meeting is held in Italy or in Asia

to draw up a balance sheet and plan the

future strategies of both companies.

The success of both companies, built and

maintained over the years, is evidence

that collaboration and the exchange

of experience and knowledge leads to

achieve goals and results that very often

would be impossible to get alone.
