Thanks to production methods able to
respond to demands for personalisation
from professionals in the world of con-
temporary design, Rimadesio have come
up with Dolmen. A versatile system of
freestanding containers and display
cases, Dolmen has been conceived for
using in different ways in a wide vari-
ety of situations, in residential settings
as well as contract situations, to give

A desire to transform the cupboard
into a sartorial product has given rise
to this modular system with a tailor
made deisgn. The crux of the design is
the notion of maximum flexibility –
dimensional, typological and in the
materials used for the finishes and
interior fixtures. The programme is

developed around elements that are
flexible in height, length and depth,
formed from structure and sides. These
modules are completed by selecting the

tionalities, from walk-in closets to
commercial spaces. The design, by
Giuseppe Bavuso, is based on an abso-
lute geometry that is expressed through
the top, the sides and the divider in
transparent glass. The aesthetics of
the system are reinforced expressive-
ly thanks to the combination of shiny
lacquered glass and float glass, that
gives a more intense colour to the lac-
quering on the back.

exist independently or in synergy with

Combining the typical features of a
storage cupboard with those of sound
absorbing panels, the Primo Acoustic
line offers in a single product the pos-
sibility to respond to the need to organ-
ise and separate spaces, while at the
same time limiting acoustic reverber-
ation. The doors of the cupboards con-
tain a fabric-covered panel with
sound-absorbing properties and are
also perforated for using the cabinet
as a sound box.
