H&R Johnson offers tiles, sanitaryware,
bath fittings, engineered marble and

modular furniture. Being the pioneer
of tiles in India, H&R Johnson is com-
mitted towards offering innovative
tiling solutions to its customers. Trans-
lating this commitment to action, the
company has now introduced the second
version of the Johnson Tile Guide. A
first-of-its-kind initiative in the Indian
tile industry, it was introduced in 2014
and is now seeing its second updated
version. The second version of this
Johnson Tile Guide unfolds the won-
derful journey of tiles and equips the
consumers with all the know-how re-
quired to pick the right tile for different

spaces. Apart from useful information
about the process of selecting, install-
ing, and maintaining tiles, the new guide
also has a rich visual gallery of living
spaces that provides ideas to transform
homes into stunning spaces. The guide
has a wide and exclusive range of tiles
from Johnson – for both indoor as well
as outdoor spaces. H&R Johnson has
added more value to their tile guide by
incorporating an application matrix
which gives suggestions from their
versatile portfolio of tiles for different
spaces as per the consumer’s budget.
It also covers details of Johnson’s
digital tools which the customers can
use to aid their decision-making process
further.

Basel. New life for the Panton lit ceiling

interiors

After 30 years visitors can once again
admire the “lit ceiling” – a large contin-
uous chandelier, made with thousands
of individually hand-cut transparent
mother-of-pearl discs – designed by
Verner Panton (1926-1998). Made in
1972 for his own home but developed
until 1987, the light installation is now
part of the restaurant at the

Basel Kunsthalle, where Panton was a
customer. The chandelier follows the
original design and was made thanks
to a loan by the Panton family of the
original one. It’s now been installed for
the event by Sauter von Moos.

Rotational for new challenges

Plust Collection was born in 2006, as
design brand of euro3plast, to explore
the flexible qualities of materials.
Since then it has made the most of
rotational moulding, applying it to a vast
spectrum of indoor/outdoor objects that,
this past May, were presented for the
first time in New York at the ICFF fair.

Among the most iconic products of the
company from Vicenza on display in
the States: the modular bar counter
Bartolomeo Desk by Joe Velluto (left)
that allows all kinds of structural
solutions: reception desks, linear
counters, and buffet consoles.
