Since December 2017, there has been much

talk in Washington that President Trump and

Kim-Jong-Un had secretly agreed to meet.

And the Korean agreement now paves the way

for that liaison. Asked about the possibility of

such a meeting, Pompeo said: “President

Tr ump isn’t doing this for theatre... he’s going

to solve a problem.”

THE PANMUNJOM DECLARATION

Declaration’ named after the truce village in

the demilitaris ed zone (South Korean side),

stating that ‘South and North Korea confirmed

the common goal of realising, through

complete denuclearisation, a nuclear-free

Korean Peninsula’.
