Diamond Home Support receives thumbs-up

from franchisees in independent survey

D

iamond Home Support,
the cleaning, gardening
and home help
franchise, has achieved
the prestigious 5 Star Franchisee
Satisfaction Award following a recent
independent survey of the company’s
franchisees.

Smith+Henderson, the organisation
that runs the awards, had this to say:
“We are delighted to award 5 Star
Franchisee Satisfaction to Diamond
Home Support.
“What makes this award so special
is it’s based on positive feedback from
their franchisees. We asked these to
complete a confidential survey about
their franchise ownership experience
and overall Diamond Home Support
was rated better than the franchise
industry average across all five of
the key areas we measure, including
franchisee relations and training and
support.
“While nothing guarantees that a
particular franchise is a good fit for you
or you will be successful, franchisors
like Diamond Home Support that
have recently been awarded 5 Star
Franchisee Satisfaction status are a
good place to start.”

SURVEY RESULTS
In the survey, 100 per cent of
franchisees voted initial training as
good or better (67 per cent voted it as
excellent). 98 per cent said head office
cared about and responded to the issues
that are important to franchisees.
98 per cent said they were treated
fairly and with respect. 98 per cent
trust the franchisor’s leadership and 94
per cent said they would recommend
the franchise to others. All these results
were well above industry benchmark
averages.
The award comes on the back
of a successful start to 2018 for
this franchise business. Eight new
franchisees have joined the network so
far this year, with more in the pipeline.
Andrew Watton, Diamond Home
Support’s managing director, has
welcomed the influx of new franchisees
this year: “It is always good to have new
blood in the network and this year we

have been joined by a number of very
talented individuals, who are already
beginning to break records for early
performance.”

START-UP FEE
The Diamond Home Support franchise
has a low start-up fee of just £2,495
(plus VAT). Established in 2011, the
business has grown rapidly. Although
the start-up fee is low, the franchise
package does not lack content. It
includes full training, an initial
six-month marketing campaign and
ongoing support throughout the
lifetime of the business.
Domestic cleaning has seen a growth
in demand over the past six years.
24 per cent more people now have a
cleaner compared to 2011. In most
parts of the country that means one in
10 now have a cleaner and in London
that figure is even higher.
Families and working professionals
are turning, in increasing numbers,
to domestic cleaning services to ‘buy
back’ quality time that would otherwise
be lost to chores around the house.
Many now see this as a necessity. It has
become the norm.
