Butter chicken burrata

Possibly the most unusual
entry on this list is housed at
this contemporary Indian fusion
restaurant at the super happening
hotspot of La Mer. Masti somehow
brings together a traditional Italian
pizza, topped with burrata, which
is then generously smothered in
butter chicken. It’s deceptively
moreish – and if you head along
to Masti on a Monday you can get
some free drinks and enjoy some
live jazz, too. A far cry from an
average bag of salt and vinegar.

While its name might
not sound like haute cuisine,
these little bite-sized treats are
the perfect accompaniment to
a cold pint. Our Pub of the Year,
dishes up these succulent little
bangers alongside (perhaps rather
incongruously) a sweet chilli mayo
dip. Dunk away, people.

Classic nachos at Lock,
Stock & Barrel
Anything that comes as aside but comfortably feeds four is
alright in our books. Especially if
it comes with two different kinds
of cheese, sour cream, jalapeños,
guacamole and salsa. These
megac nachos pack a punch
(even more so if you add extra chilli
for Dhs15).

This may well be Dubai’s most
charming restaurant and bar, and
if the sprawling views out from theterrace over Madinat Jumeirah’s
waterways aren’t enough, this
delightful bar bite takes it a step
further. The Guinea fowl sausage
roll is baked with a perfect golden
hue, and is paired with a quaint
little barbecue dipping pot on the
side. A sophisticated slant on a
pub grub classic.
